Under his leadership, Fuyao Automotive North America won General Motors’ prestigious “Supplier of the Year” award four times. He also spearheaded a $400M+ investment in Ohio in 2014, which was the largest investment into Ohio state history by a glass supplier.
Chris also worked 12 years at Chrysler / Daimler-Chrysler with various responsibilities from manufacturing engineering to body system design engineering.
Chris holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Mechatronics from Dalian University of Technology. He also spent two years at University of Michigan as a mechanical engineering researcher.
Robert Clippard, Ph.D.
Vice President, Engineering and Business Development
Robert joined Infintium in 2021. He oversees all aspects of software and electrical development across each class of power cell. This includes the sensor fusion design, power control unit design, power conversion and management, data collection, and our KPI indication platform. He joins after having worked with various manufacturers ranging from Proterra, Daimler Trucks North America, BMW Group USA, and PowerSecure. Through his various roles he has worked with both emerging technology as well as legacy systems. With two startups under his belt, he is also well versed in dynamic, hypergrowth development surrounding new technology deployments.
Robert’s role leading the electrical and software development at Proterra, has provided him with knowledge of the technical hurdles purely battery powered EV platforms face. While there he worked to launch multiple generations of battery electric transit buses, worked with various OEMs to integrate battery electric systems into demonstration vehicles, and helped launch multiple OEM battery electric vehicles using Proterra technology.
Robert holds a Ph.D. in Automotive Engineering from Clemson University as well as Master of Science in Computer Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering degrees from North Carolina State University.

South East Hydrogen Hub
Infintium has connected with Duke Energy on the topic of hydrogen and is actively engaging with Duke on the DOE’s Regional Clean Hydrogen Hub opportunity. In particular, Infintium has offered a Letter of Commitment to Duke Energy and the Southeast Hydrogen Hub (SEH2) to support the SEH2’s application to the DOE. If SEH2 is awarded, Duke Energy and Infintium will continue to actively engage on the topic of hydrogen and in particular, synergistic opportunities within the Southeast Hydrogen Hub that focus on establishing meaningful routes of offtake for gaseous hydrogen users and consumers, which includes multi-sector fuel cell systems applications.
